This guide will walk you through the step-by-step process of setting up an email account on your iPhone or iPad.
Open “Settings“, “Mail, Contacts, Calendars“, “Add Account…“
Select “Other” as the account type.
Choose “Add Mail Account“.
Complete the form with your name, email address, password provided by us, and a description (optional).
On the subsequent form, please additionally fill in both “Hostname” fields under incoming and outgoing with “mail.nextron.ch“. Also, enter your complete email address in both “Username” fields and your password in both “Password” fields (important!). Ignore the “optional” note; the password is required here.
Now the account is basically set up. The iPhone and iPad automatically configure your account with SSL encryption to keep your email traffic secure. For safety, you can check in the account settings whether the “SSL” option is activated. You can find the corresponding option under “Outgoing Mail Server” > “SMTP” and under “Advanced”.
